How a 4-team round robin schedule runs
Every team plays all the others once, so 4 teams is 6 matches over 3 rounds.
If that is more than your day allows, the 3-team round robin schedule is shorter. With more entries than you planned for, see the 5-team round robin schedule. For any other size, the round robin generator builds the same schedule for the number of teams you actually have.
