How it works
Turn it on
On the Access tab, under Self-service result entry, allow referees to enter results, participants to report them, or both. For participant reports, choose what happens when only one side reports.
Hand out the links
Referee QR codes on the Scheduler's Referees tab and Participant QR codes on the Participants or Teams page show each link and QR code. Export access QR codes (PDF) prints one card per person with their personal link.
Results come in
A referee's result counts straight away. A participant report is confirmed when both sides agree, and a disagreement waits in Pending Confirmations for you to resolve.

Scores come in from the phone as soon as a match ends. No paper slips to collect and nothing to retype.
Each person, their own matches
A referee's link shows only the matches assigned to them, and a participant can report only the matches they play in.
You keep the final say
A referee's result replaces any pending participant report, and once you or a referee has entered a result, participants can no longer report on that match. A result you entered yourself stays locked for referees too.
Frequently asked questions
No. They open their personal link or scan their QR code in the browser on any phone. There is no account to create and no app to install.
A referee, only the matches assigned to them: assign referees with the automatic scheduler or on a single match with Update Date, Location & Referee. A participant, only the matches they play in. A referee with no matches yet sees an empty list until you assign some.
When both sides report the same score, the match is confirmed and the standings and bracket update. When they disagree, the match waits in Pending Confirmations for you to resolve. When only one side reports, you choose: Trust first report confirms it at once, Auto-confirm accepts it when the confirmation timeout runs out, and Auto-escalate, the default, flags the match for you instead. The timeout goes from 12 hours to 1 week and is 48 hours unless you change it.
No. It is saved as soon as the referee submits it and replaces any pending participant report. If you already entered the result yourself, the match is locked for the referee. As the organizer you can still change any result afterwards.
Export access QR codes (PDF), in Referee QR codes and in Participant QR codes, prints one card per person with their name under a QR code of their personal link. Once results from the phone are on, that link lets its owner enter or report results, so give each card only to its owner and never post the sheet publicly. Exporting them needs a Premium plan.
Open Referee QR codes and revoke the link: it stops working immediately. Regenerate link gives the referee a fresh link and the old one stops working. Removing a referee from the list also cancels their link.
No, it is part of Premium. Turning on referee result entry or participant result reporting, managing referees, the Referee QR codes and Participant QR codes panels and the QR code PDFs all need a Premium plan on the tournament owner's account. If that plan ends, referee links stop accepting results.
