Each round, players with the same score are paired against each other. Winners face winners, losers face losers, and rematches are avoided. After enough rounds the leaderboard converges on a clear ranking without needing every pair to play.

A common rule is log2(n) rounded up. So 8 players play 3 rounds, 16 play 4, 32 play 5, 64 play 6. You can add rounds for tighter ranking or stop early if a clear leader has emerged.

Score7 supports common Swiss tiebreakers: Buchholz, Sonneborn-Berger, head-to-head and median score. Pick the order in tournament settings, and Swiss will use them when two players are level on points. Tiebreakers update automatically as results come in.
