Frequently asked questions
A league table is a round-robin where every team plays every other team and ranks by points over the season. A knockout is a bracket where one loss eliminates a team. Many sports run a league season followed by a knockout playoff.
Yes. Set match dates spread across weeks or weekends and Score7 schedules fixtures accordingly. Useful for school leagues, weekend amateur leagues and corporate sports leagues.
Use multi-stage with two parallel round-robins in stage one, then a promotion or knockout playoff in stage two. Score7 handles the seeding from each division automatically.
Yes. In a double round-robin, every pair plays once at each venue. The standings can show home record, away record and combined record side by side.
Yes. Head-to-head is one of the default tiebreakers. When teams are level on points, Score7 compares score difference first, then score for, then their direct results. With Premium you can reorder the tiebreakers, for example to put head-to-head first.
It sets how a match result turns into standings points, and Score7 picks it from your sport when you create the tournament. Classic gives fixed points for a win, a draw and a loss, like 3, 1 and 0 for football or 4, 2 and 0 for rugby. By Margin is for sports played in sets, like volleyball and beach volleyball: the points depend on whether the match went to the deciding set. You can switch the scoring type and edit every value in a round-robin stage's settings.
Yes. Add volunteers as editors and they can enter scores from their own phones. Each volunteer signs in with their own Score7 account, and adding editors is a Premium feature.
Yes. Pick the scoring type that turns results into points and add bonus or penalty points.
Yes. A league runs on the free Starter plan as your one active tournament. More active tournaments come with Premium.
Yes. Generate a double round robin and every pair plays once at each ground. A football table gives 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, and the table updates after every result.
