How a 8-team single elimination bracket runs

An 8-team single elimination bracket is 7 matches over 3 rounds, and a single loss ends a run.

If that is more than your day allows, the 4-team single elimination bracket is shorter. With more entries than you planned for, see the 16-team single elimination bracket. For any other size, the bracket maker builds the same bracket for the number of teams you actually have.
